Dawn, I had this happen too I think that it means your body is now in full ketosis.... a good thing! You are burning fuel from your body(hopefully fat). Mine went away fairly quickly though. Hang in there! Kathy

You just have to keep tasting things to see what you enjoy. It may be foods you didn't like before too. I still don't enjoy fish. I can't even eat Tuna Salad which I did like. Only shrimp now. Have you've had your blood work done yet. Talk with your PCP & Surgeon about the change as you made need extra vitamins. I did cheat when I was feeling really bad with a Post-op complication and had a McDs Shake it was good but I paid for it for about 5 hours the next day on the Thrown.LOL.

I had my surgery on May 15th and I agree with you - Nothing tastes or sounds good. If it does sound good - the first taste and I change my mind. Flavored water especially Propel goes down OK. I do drink Carnation Instant Breakfast and AdvantEase Protein shakes. These are OK. Cheese Sticks and Wheat Thins are OK. Oatmeal goes down fine, just takes me awhile. The only other real food has been Mc D cheeseburger (patty and cheese only) and the parfait. This settled good twice! Also Taco Bell's pinto beans and cheese. My mind still is in the old mind set and so many things sound good BUT!!! Good Luck Darlene Down 36 lbs

Hi Dawn - I had my surgery the same date as you. I have noticed a change in my appetite and taste in the past couple of weeks. The first month after surgery I craved food and the taste of food, but now it seems like a chore, and not much seems appetizing. So, you are not alone! Take care, heather
