Who's Getting In Their Waters & Their Proteins?
Hello! I'm having a tough time doing both in the same day. If you are getting in your waters/proteins could you do me a HUGE favor please...write down the times and the amounts for me and I'll see if i can mimic them. I work full time i'm going to the gym as often as i can and i still can't seem to fit everything in. Thank you so much in advance, ANDI
I had to e mail my nutritionist, and found out that Propel, and Crystal light counts as water.
I start my protein when I rise.
I do a pre protein drink before I go to the gym.
I'm still on a medical so I get to go at least 5 times a week.
I take a propel 23 oz, and I have a water 20 oz, so I start off with 46 oz of water by 10am.
I also try to get most of my protein in with the foods I eat throughout the day, so I usually only drink 2 protein drinks a day if that.
Also do you like Isopure, it has 40grams in a bottle, I have tried 1/2 in am and 1/2 in the evening.
I'm not sure if this helps, but it kinda gives you a garbled idea of my day.

Hey Andrea. I can't really help, but I can commiserate with you. I, too, am having a very hard time getting in my protein and water. My pouch is very grouchy in the mornings until about noon and hurts any time I try to drink any kind of liquid, whether it be a protein drink or water. After that I try to get in as much as I can, but it is very hard. I still have to drink my water very slowly and it's really difficult to down too much of it that way. I'm even more concerned about how hard it's going to be when I go back to work in another 10 days! Hopefully I can also get some tips from your responders! Good luck!

I'm getting in both plus my vitamins, still having problems with the calcium citrate though. I drink water all day long plus I get in 50-70 grams protein in per day. I have been drinking the profect, cuz it is only 2.9 oz of liquid. I found if I ate in the morning I had troubles getting it all in, cuz of the amount of time it took before I could drink again. Walking seemed to help.

I start with my breakfast or protein shake first, then shower and get ready for work. I take my breakfast and lunch to work. I drink my water until 1/2hr before AM break when I eat breakfast. Then more water until 1/2 hour before lunch. Lunch then water after until dinner. Sometimes I am flat tired of water so I like unsweetened herbal tea on ice for variety. Starbucks sells TAZO herbal teas which can be served on ice. The passion tea and the refresh(spearmint) have no caffeine. An ocasional trip to Starbucks has been great. Bottled ISOPURE is 40gm of protein but drink it well iced and a little diluted. I know someone who showed me how to mix it 1 to 1 with sugar-free koolaid. ISOPURE also makes a powder which is 50gms of protein in 8oz. I like the Vanilla flavor blended witth some icecubes. Almost like instant breakfast!
Most days I manage to get everything in ....always have a container of water with you!
