WHAT AM I DOING WRONG????
OKAY SO I HAD RNY ON 5/18/06....AND AM EATING 60G PROTEIN AT LEAST 60 OX H2O....AND GETTING VITS IN....STARTED REALLY WORKING OUT ABOUT WEEK AND HALF AGO...WALKIND 1.5-2 MILES AT 3.5-4 PACE AND DOING SOME WEIGHT TRAINING. oKAY SO I EAT A PROTEIN SHAKE FOR BREAKFAST OR 1/4 CUP COTTAGE CHEESE...LUNCH IS EITHER 3/4 OZ SHAVED TURKEY DELI MEAT AND 3/4 STRING CHEESE...OR SOME OF A LEAN CUISINE NO PASTA BREADS OR RICE, THEN EAT SOME OF A PROTEIN BAR FOR SNACK, DINNER IS SAME AS LUNCH MEAT PROTEIN AND A LITTLE OF A FRUIT OR VEGGIE...AND THEN ANOTHER PROTEIN SHAKE AFTER THAT. SO TELL ME WHY THE SCALE FOR ABOUT THE LAST 3 WEEKS IS BEEN BOUNCING BACK FROM 191 - 190 BUT WON'T BUDGE FROM THERE...GRANTED I HAVE LOST INCHES AND CAN TELL I'VE LOST WEIGHT...BUT I WANT THAT SCALE TO START MOVING AGAIN NOT LIKE 10LBS OR ANYTHING...BUT I WANT OUT OF 190'S...I KNOW WE LOOSE SLOW TOO JUST NEED TO VENT...AHHHH.... HOW'S EVERYONE ELSE DOING????

Hi Chandi!
I think it sounds like you're doing really great with your diet! I have to applaud you on getting in all your protein and everything you are consuming in a day. I'm not even close to consuming all that! And your exercise routine sounds great too. I don't have any advice to give but I think you are doing great and eventually it will pay off!
Good job!

Chandi - I feel your pain girl! I was totally there not to long ago (last week). You're going to get on that scale in the next few days have a huge drop. Remember, our weight loss is like a staircase. Pleatau and then DROP, Pleatu and hten DROP. During the pleatu stages it sure is frustrating. I'm right there with you babe!! You're a MODEL patient don't change a thing.
Hi Chandi -
You're doing everything right, so pat yourself on the back! Im in a similar situation; my surgery date was 5/17, and I've lost 23 pounds. Not that I'm complaining, but the scale does not move much, and I guess I was expecting a more miraculous drop. We just have to keep doing what we're doing!
Hang in there!

Chandi, I know exactly how you feel. My weight has remained around 274 for the past two weeks!!!! All I can say is, "hang in there". You are doing everything right, and the weight will begin to come off. I had my surgery on 5/19 and so far I have lost 10 lbs...well 25 if you count the pre-surgery diet weight loss. I am not sure why it is so slow, but I am trying to hit all those water and protein goals...so hard to do. All props to you for being able to do it. Work that tool girl!!!
