this morning, I had swiss chard, I am getting a little gurgling going on as it settles down through, but no bloating, no discomfort. however, I should point out that I have been on leafy greens for 3.5 months, so my entire system is used to the gases. I eat all of the following: asparagus broccoli spinach chard cucumber zucchini yellow crookneck squash for lean meats: I eat: deli turkey deli roast beef deli ham grilled chicken grilled pork loin grilled steak baked salmon baked halibut baked monk fish

I just eat grilled chicken, tuna fish, and thinly sliced lunch meat for my protein. I don't try to get too fancy and it's helped me lose a lot of weight to start off with.

wow! Grilled Chicken sounds good. I have been scared to try it as they say Chicken and Eggs are the ones people have the most trouble with. Do you have anything with it? Is it dry? I WANT TO TRY IT. How about your tuna - Is it just plain?

Hi Darlene and good morning to you! I do a lot of fish (tilapia, salmon, flounder) it's very high in protein and it's easy on my pouch. I haven't done any meats yet and chicken is still iffy with me. I eat half a Wendy's chili and i'm good to go. I don't puree the chili, i eat the beans first then if i'm still hungry i go for the other stuff in it.

I eat a lot of chili; I make my own though cause I don't want to tempt myself going to the Wendy's drive through. I always add some reduced fat cheese and fat free sour cream to it to increase the protein and the last time I made chili I added some precooked grilled chicken breast, diced very finely. I also like peanut butter or graham crackers grilled chicken and salmon and pasta-less lasagna. Today I am looking for a recipie for cheddar brocoli soup as this goes down particularly well for me. I usually buy it from Panera, but that is getting awfully expensive. I also have had egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad. I do add the onions and celery, I just run it through the food processor. That way its more like a pate that I can eat with crackers....hmmmm pate???? I will have to try that next!
