BM's *warning*
This might be TMI for some but as most of you know we are very open about many things on these boards that concern our bodies as that is what this is all about. So my question is when you all have BM's are they a very strange consistancy? Someone on here told me that theirs kind of stayed on top of the water. That is exactly what mine are doing now. I am still on my liquid part of my post op and have 1.5 more weeks to go. It is very strange...stays on top of the water and almost like a soft serve type of appearence then there is a white almost foam that surrounds it?! Are mine weird or is this common?
Thanks.
Hugs!
Shele
hi shele, im one week before you and my bm was exactly 1 week home from hospitol and was almost black with a hint of green(iron pills) but it was awful it also floats but i think its because of the lack of fat in our systems but i did not have whote foam. but i dont think yours was uncommon or abnormal.
take care

Hey, I am 13 days out, and eating soft types of foods. My bm's are lose, however, I suffered from irritable bowel pre-op. Getting better now. I have a couple of Bm's a day, and the one MAJOR difference I have noticed about them is that they smell different. I know it's gross, but now, they almost smell like cat poop.. It's rotten, my husband will walk into the bathroom now and start coughing. lol He always teases me about my nasty stench. lol
Mine float more than usual too, and they are not formed, but rather lose, and hmm what's the word, broken up?? lol
