I've been pouring my high protein drinks into smaller-necked bottles and find it easier to drink if I don't smell it. Hope that will help someone.

Thanks Jane! I have tried this too and still gag!~ I hate it but someone told me to try it in OJ that the smell hides the protein smell. I might try kinda scared though. Thanks! Hugs! Shele

That's a good idea. My surgeon suggests I sip out of a thin straw, he says less air. (I know every doc is different) One thing that helped mewas to add more water. I tried the Nectar protein samples mixed with 6-8 oz of water & hated them. Then I tried them again using 12-16 oz of water & they were great! I like fuzzy navel and iced tea. I want to buy samples of the Apple & Cherry next. Darlene

I agree with the previous posters. I found that if I just mixed half of the scoop of protein with the liquid (either milk, water or other sugar-free beverage) that it was much more palatable. I figured, I could do twice the liquid....needed to anyway. The 'protein-y taste' is not nearly as bad then...

I agree with Darlene. Hated Protien until I started mixing more liquid with the powder. I also switched from water to lactaid non fat. Creamy and NO ODOR at all. Tastes good too. Sue
