Hi Megan - I understand how frustrating this is - my scale has been slow to move. Its great that you are exercising, but maybe you are doing too much to soon and your body doesn't want to give up the weight because it needs it for healing? I don't know. I hope your doctor's appointment went well and was helpful. Good luck, Heather

hey meg, have you tried the plataue diet? 1 month out is a very common time to get stalled, if you want to give it a go, here it is: ---------------------------------------------------- How to break a plateau #1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau #2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day #3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day #4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day beef pork chicken turkey lamb fish eggs low fat cheese cottage cheese plain yogurt or artificially sweetened peanut butter beans/legumes You may also have: sugar free popsicles tea or coffee sugar free soda sugar free jello broths/boullion crystal light drinks #5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!

Lol Well I don't think anyone could be doing worst then I am as far as losing weight. I am down 9 pounds and it has been almost 4 weeks. I lost 22 pounds pre-op, so maybe that is why. I weighed 222 the day of surgery. Hey though the scale is moving slowly but surly. I have always lost weight slow.

Hello to my workout idol!! I say eat a little more. I wasn't interested in eating anything, maybe 100 to 200 calories a day, and my weight stayed the same for 11 days. I was so mad at my body. Then I added some more calories, and it started to come off again. Also, are you taking your calcium every day? I seem to lose when I remember to take my Citracal calcium chew (I like the chocolate mint) Remember not to take it with your multivitamin, wait a few hours. Darlene

That's interesting... you know why? I'm NOT taking my Calcium. I'm awesome about taking everything else. I'll have to start trying that again tomorrow.

That's interesting. I know my surgeon said not to take the calcium with the iron, so I've been making sure not to take them together. But I have been taking the calcium and Juice Plus vitamins together. Am I not supposed to be doing this? If not, why? I'll have to start changing how I take my supplements today. Thanks for the advice!
