Okay guys - some of us have been out for a few weeks now. Some just a week or two. Curious how everyone is doing with weight loss thus far. Has anyone gotten stuck on a pleatu yet (we all know I did). What are your eating habits like now? Are you working out? Getting your liquids in?

Hey Megan, I posted earlier (look for one by TJ) that I have at least lost the fluid weight I gained as a result of the surgery. I do not know if I have lost much else besides. Funny story though: Yesterday we went to the zoo and I wore my favorite cargo pants. They are a size 24. They kept falling down! I can tell my tummy is smaller, but I need to get a tape measure to keep track of my measurements. I am improving my eating habits...check out the previous post) and I started today with a protein shake and vitamins. I am on a personal challenge to get in 64 oz of water in today. Anyone with me?

It seems like every day is a pleatu yet when I look at the weekly progress it shows. I guess I'm looking for more than a pound a day but in reality it's working. Drinking a protein drink in am the about 3 oz of chicken, fish, pork or beef for my other 2 meals. Sometimes a snack of sf pudding or jello in the evening. AND plenty of water. I know I should exercise more but just doing laundry or washing the floor is a chore right now. I am down 24 lbs since the 15th - 2 weeks. Not too bad. Debbie

Great job ladies!! I too am on a "personal challange" to get in my liquids. I know that it's very important!! As for me the first week 1/2 I lost 18lbs. Since then I've only lost 5. I know "ONLY" - but I think I was expecting more. That's okay. I'm eating right and working out a ton so I know that it's nothing that I'm doing wrong. I can totally tell a difference in my clothes. I started this adventure this month is a tight 22 and I went clothes shopping this weekend for size 20's. YEAH!

Well I am three weeks out today and i got on the scale this morning and I am down a total of 36 pounds ( 7 of which pre surgery). I started eating puree food and really enjoyed some of the things I got to eat this weekend. On saturday i BBQed and pureed a chicken thigh marinated in pollo and i added salsa to make it wetter. I had eggs with shredded cheese on them for breakfast. I had refried beans for lunch. On memorial I actually pulled some meat off a rib i made and pureed it. It went down ok... but... i drank milk to soon and got a little dumping thing going on. I didnt throw up but got sweaty and dizzy for a few minutes. I was worried it would get worse but it stopped fairly quickly and went on with my day. What did i do over the weekend is even better. I went to the lake and watched my family play in the lake and ride our skis. I cant do that yet because of the surgery but i hope to get on mine soon. The rest of the weekend I layed out by the pool and got a killer sunburn. It was a great weekend and to tell you the truth.... I HAVE NEVER FELT BETTER. I am so glad i had this surgery done. Hope you all had a great weekend too.

I went for my 2 week dr apt last Friday and had lost 20 pounds! I was thrilled! Yesterday I bought a scale, I haven't owned one for over 15 years. And I had dropped another 4 pounds (total of 24). B - yogert and cottage cheese, L - tuna salad or egg salad, D - chicken or fish.
