Hiya everyone! I am officially on the losing side! The surgery went perfectly and I feel awesome! I am 5 days out and really can't believe how good I feel. I've had no problems! (knock on wood). I am having a lot of gas, is that normal for the first week or more? I am also taking in a lot of water but don't seem to be getting rid of it. Is that indicative of dehydration? I had so much fun meeting Jeremy B. And Shea from OH. We had the best time in the hospital together. It was nice to visit each other's room and laugh a bit together. Hope all is well with the whole gang of ya here! Looking forward to chatting next week! Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, Welcome home and God Bless! Gas is VERY common after any surgery. The best remedy:walking. The second best: Gas-x chewables or fast dissolves. It will go away eventually. Good luck to you.
