I have made it to the losers bench!!!!!

Good morning all!!! I have finally made it to the losers side! What a long trip it has been to get here. I am looking forward to the journey through my rebirth I am just under a week out my surgery wasa 5/23/06. I feel awesome other then the sore. My stomach is awefully bruised and I do not bruise in general easy. Food is great, love that puree diet Ok really it is not that bad. I thought it would have been yucky. The only thing that I really have a hard time with is eggs. I have tried them 2 times and they feel like they get stuck in my throat, had to sip a bit of water for that feeling to go away. I think I will stay away from them at least until I am healed better inside. I love this site. Everyone is so helpful and so full of sweetness. The day after I came home from the hospital I see that where they had the drainage tube looked like a bullet hole. I would have thought they would have stitched it or used steristrips like they used on the incisions. All they did was put a piece of gauze and tape. I got on here and went on the chat room and asked. I was relieved to know that this would heal ok and I would just have a scar that the hole would close. Good for you Chelle! Just remember everyone's journey on this road is unique. What may be right for one is not going to work for someone else. You can still buy steristrips at the local pharmacy if you'd like. I did as as soon as I got home. I know what everyone said, I just wanted to stack the deck in my favor, you know? Anyway, glad to see you here. just get those fluids in for now, you will not believe how horrible you can feel if you are dehydrated. God bless you sweetie! -trinakaj
