Less than a week...
Hi Jinn! Everyone prepares for surgery differently. I had mine on 5/8 and have lost 18lbs so far. I'm tired a lot but I keep walking and am SO happy to be eating regular food!! My suggestions would be make a list of what to pack for the hospital, try to relax and mentally prepare for your journey!
Personally, I feel pretty good. Aside from the occasional left lower stich pain (hate that!), I don't have any pain anymore. I'm trying to get as much protein out of food as I can because I'm getting sick of the stupid protein shakes! Other than that, I have no complaints! I get 6 weeks off of work which I probably don't need but I'm loving it! (oh God, see how I fit a McDonald's slogan into my post? Old habits DO die hard! LMAO)
Hugs,
Heather
LOL - how funny (the I'm loving it!)
So you are 10 days out and eating regular food? I think I have to do a 2 week liquid diet after surgery then move to things like puree foods? I go to my teaching class the day before surgery and they will give me all of that info then...
18lbs. WOW I can't wait!
That is so nice that you get 6 weeks off - I have taken 10 weeks earlier this year for maternity leave so I only have 2 weeks left of FMLA - so that is it for me... but oh well - I could have waited for my FMLA to start again but I didn't want to wait that long!
Thanks for sharing!
Jinn
Jinn, I have already move back into clothes that I had put away due to getting too tight. Fortunately, I did save some clothes along the way.....
I never would have dreamed it would progress this good this quick.....
