No its not silly. Sometimes you just know to much, I dont actually TRUST all the cleaning thats done inmost hospitals. Its just to spray toilet, door handles etc. etc. I know I can be a little when it comes to germs and sanitizing(so my family says). The hospital is actually where you can pick up the MOST germs and end up with a nosocmial infection!!

and to cover up the smells in the room too! I had a roomie with a colonstamy (sp?) bag, the poor thing, but it really made me nauseous. Wish I brought Lysol!

Hello everyone, What a great message! I wish I saw this one before I went into the hospital. I had my surgery May 8th. I was in the hospital for four days and it wasn't until the 4th day that I was comfortable enough to wear my own clothes. I was more comfortable in the hopital gown in the first few days b/c of the drain. I was so paranoid that I would pull it out. A camera is a MUST. If you can bring even a small battery powered fan, I would reccommend it. I was really hot on several occasions and it just makes you miserable. Best of luck!!! My first day was SO PAINFUL, but each day is easier and easier and now I am feeling good. Kristen
