What's In Your BAG????????
Your list is fine...... I know for a fact I needed my Lever 2000 w/Aloe and I think the nurse was offened when I told her I don't wash with that hospital stuff. I think she was more offened when she handed me the wash cloth with the lever 2000 to wash my face and I told her no just help me up and I'll go wash my face with Ambi. My skin was glowing despite me feeling like crap.
You wanna be confortable so bring the things that make you feel good.
I was surprised they let me put on my own jammy's it made me feel better being there for 4 days.
Plus you worked in the hospital at this point you know more than most about how there recovery procedures are.
Your fine sweetie.
I had the kinky twist so much easier to maintain. After the fact i barely could do anything. I just took it out and washed my hair. They just put me on pureed on wednesday I'm not real hungry but i grill me a pork chop or chicken once a day. And chew chew chew. I'm trying to get the water in that is the hardest part that i am having. When I was on liquids I could eat a whole bowl of cream of wheat now Only 4 table spoons as a matter of fact i have to go drink something.
Girl, I laughed so hard at your reply! You bring whatever the heck you want to! If you don't need something fine! I brought all of the above with the exception of a robe - I opted for shorts so my butt wasn't hanging out when I walked and it worked fine! I would've brought a laptop if I had one! TV and reading got redundant! Good luck to you!
Heather
P.S. Obviously I have a different texture hair (white girl hair), but I loved being able to brush my hair several times during my hospital stay. made me feel somewhat human (as did the deoderant!!!!!)
it's going well! the first week sucked because it felt like I was always uncomfortable. Now I can eat food (Finally!) and only got sick off of one thing - sugar free pudding believe it or not! Have you found a good protein shake? I liked mine the first week or so, now it makes me sick. I'm going to the store tomorrow - hopefully I'll find something I like.
