new surgery date!!

My surgry date has been cjanged from May 15th to May 30th. (complications from a spider bite!!) Any one out there with this date? E-mail me!! Nerves are starting to kick in!!

Hi there! you are the day before me, mine is May 31st. At least you know you will be fit and well when you have major surgery. Hope all goes well. Think of it as an adventure - nerve racking but also exhilarating and exciting!!! The 30th is the first day of your new life. The surgeons know what they are doing and I'm sure you are in safe hands. I'm thinking of it a bit like doing a tamdem skydive (Not that I've ever done one - one of my goals for when I loose weight) - safe because you are in safe hands of a professional, but terrifying because you are launching yourself out of an aroplane which is several thousand feet up in the sky!!!!!!!!! which you have never done before Enjoy the ride........

Hey Antoinette! We are gonna be rebirthday twins girl! I know how you feel, I actually had to cancel mine that was scheduled the 10th to the 30th due to a bad sinus cold. I have had some times where my nerves were getting the best of me but I remembered all the advice I have gotten on OH. Keep picturing yourself a year from then and how much you are going to feel better. Then picture yourself if you don't have the surgery. Now then don't you feel better. We are gonna make it. Hi Julie, Sorry to hear that your surgery was posttponed, but hey, like you said, now we can be rebirthday buddies!! I am trying to imagine myself in a yaer from now and it's not that easy to do, i have been overweight for so long, that I can't even remember a time when I was thin. I'm not sure what kind of spider it was, but, boy did my eye swell up !! I looked like Quasimodo!! The doctor had to put me on steroids and keflex and benydryl. Now I have to wait for two more weeks. Oh well. everything happens for a reason! Antoinette
