Topic: Hi fellow Maysters - looking for support
Well, we're coming up on 5 years and I'm happy for what I've accomplished - 100 lbs kept off! I'm still hovering around 200lbs and want to lose more. I was just sick and had to take prednisone for 2 weeks, which helped me to gain 6 lbs! I also had foot surgery in Feb so my workouts have decreased. I guess I'm looking for inspiration!
Thanks for listening

Topic: MARATHON
Hello everyone! i haven't posted in quite some time, i know, but with good reason. I was training 5 days a week and fundraising for LLS in my spare time. All worth it - On January 10, 2010 (which also happens to be my 45th birthday) I completed my first FULL marathon! 26.2 Miles! I did it!
In my earlier years I never would have tried running at all - nevermind a marathon. What a truly great accomplishment from where I was almost 5 yrs ago. I think I cried the last two miles just thinking about the change in my life because of this surgery. Its been quite a ride.
All this running and my BMI still teeters on overweight - so frustrating.
But I guess its the choices I make. Will always be working on that.

Good to hear from you! My weight is up too! I lost my 5 lb Christmas vacation gain by water-walking and no carbs last week. I'm continuing this week and hopefully for a few months. I want to lose 30 more.
Take care!

How are you? I'm hanging tough (aren't I always?). LOL. 13 surgeries in just under 5 years and taken a toll but things are definitely looking up despite menopause of course. LOL. Weight is up and not where I want it to be. But hopefully now that things are on the up-and-up then I can get moving and get some weight off and get back to what I consider a comfortable weight.
I've missed you.
I'm on Facebook. Would love to see you there. PM me.

Ok, down 23.6 pounds since the start of weigh****chers! The lapband tool and weigh****chers really does work! It has only been an average of 1.47 per week but thats healthy Im told! Dont give up! Try it, I believe in it 100%!

Topic: Hey Maysters!
Well my 4 yr surgiversary passed on May 2. 4 years post op, up 20 pounds and PREGNANT. 28 weeks, and never happier. And the 20 pounds is not pregnancy related, I've only gained 7 since my LMP. But I am feeling great, and have had virtually no complications as a Post OP. The tool still works when I work it and I am thrilled.
Hope everyone is doing well.
