Topic: We are almost 2 years out
I see that most of us have moved on to life. Lurking mostly, posting periodically...
We are almost 2 years post surg now... time sure does march on.
Are you at goal????
Are you living life????
Are you loving life???
To answer my own question...
Am I at a number goal...nope.... still weigh between 165-168, Doctors goal was 160, mine was 150.... So officially, never got there..... but the journey has been awesome...
Im wearing the clothing I want.... a size 8, in most things.... and attractng attention, which I love...
Am I living life.... most days.... am I loving life... DEFINITELY.... I try to enjoy each day. I realize life is way to short to be unhappy, so if I have an unhappy situation that I can control... I change it.
Ive been told I am a motivation to people, and I like that feeling.....
I have wonderful girls who keep me busy,
I have a wonderful husband... when I see him..lol...
Now if I only had the downpayment for a house... but I digress...lol
Talk to me Maysters.... and if you ever get near New Hampshire.... get in touch with me.... Free hugs here.!!!

Topic: Hiya
Long time no post. I've been busy, but have missed you all.
It sounds like Kathy is facing some serious challenges ... sigh ... the very best to you
on that journey.
I've been facing struggles, as we all have and do. I am at a new job, for 2 weeks so
far, and feeling very challenged. I am no longer working from home -- a blessing in some ways: the refrigerator is not there any longer. But, I miss my home and the routines
I felt comfortable with, my cats, and not having to commute. But, I had to leave my old job -- it was eating me alive.
Oddly enough I now work for a company that supplies software the helps bariatric surgeons and patients.
Anyway...
Eileen

Good to see ya drop by, Thanks for your greeting Just yesterday I thought of you and wondered how you were and realized it had been a long time since you posted. Hope all is well with you these days too. Life gets so busy doesn't it and full of changes? How did your TT heal? Are you happy with the results?

Looks like the Maysters have been busy. I've been MIA for quite some time now - probably a few months and by the look of the board, everyone is getting pretty caught up in life these days. Just wanted to check in, say hi, and let you all know that even though I'm not on OH much anymore, I still think of you all and hope you're doing well.

Wow, That is so great! Australia and New Zealand are two of the places I have always wanted to see. You should be so proud! You have really done well. This surgery is truly a gift.
2nd chances are great!
YAY!

Jess

I'm in MN where it is STILL snowing! We had a lovely "Freezster"! Frozen eggs don't break. So the kids didn't do an egg toss, someone could have gotten knocked out!
Topic: HAPPY CLIMBER!
I went to Australia and did one of the things on my "TO DO LIST"! I was finally able to climb the Sydney Harbor Bridge!
I was there two years ago and couldn't do it as a pre-op, thought I'd never get another chance. Well, I did and I took it and will never regret it! Photos are posted in my new profile.
