Topic: RE: Wednesday: What are you eating?
Morning: Protein shake on my drive to work (no gym today - resting my back/hip/leg which is pitching fits)
Breakfast: Cup o' joe. Leftover this and that. A few bites of Costco chicken salad. A few bites of baked chicken breast. If that isn't enough to satisfy me... a piece of provolone.
Lunch: More chicken - this time schnitzel made by Mr. Rich. Breaded but mostly parm cheese with one dash of breadcrumbs. I'm going to start clucking soon... very soon.
Snack: Protein shake
Dinner: Not sure yet.
Snack: Strawberries w/ cream cheese SF chocolate dip, Protein shake
Vitamins: Haven't started yet except had calcium in morning shake. Will get the rest started after breakfast.
Water: A few sips in - that's all. Gonna work on that. Hope to get at least 60 oz of pure water in.
Exercise: Taking a day off from the gym. Not sure if I'll do anything at home tonight.

Topic: RE: Whole can of tuna?
I replied to ya on the Grads board but YES I can eat a whole can. Once it is drained and flaked... it doesn't amount to that much honestly. What maybe it'd fit into a 1/4 cup container? Calorically it's fine at 175 - the vegies add nothing to the mix other than taste and texture and crunch and they chew up to nothing. And we all know that jello just swishes through. LOL!

Topic: Whole can of tuna?
Anyone else out there able to eat a whole can of tuna? I had an entire can for dinner last night and that troubles me for some reason. According to the label, there's 2.5 servings of 2 oz each - that makes 5 ounces of tuna and about 175 calories total. (btw, these are the stats for Chix of the Sea Solid White Albacore packed in water). For dinner last night, I had a can of tuna on a bed of salad greens with half a sliced cucumber, a small plum tomato, and 6 or 7 olives. I didn't put any mayo on it - just drained it and put it on top of the salad with some low fat ranch. I still had room for s/f jello and s/f coolwhip for dessert.
Can anyone else eat this much or am I just being greedy?
Topic: RE: OMGSH - I've got head hunger
Yep, sounds like boredon to me too. I'm also a boredom eater, stress eater, coping with change eater, needing comfort eater, you name it. You need something to do to pass the hours. Any projects around the house need doing? Painting, redecorating, etc? That could help pass some hours. Anyway, good luck!

Topic: RE: chewing gum
I was an avid gum chewer preop (Dubble bubble was my gum of choice! ) and I still am an avid chewer. I chew to stifle the urge to graze, which is all the time. Nowadays, I chew Trident Splash strawberry lime and I usually pop in a piece immediately after a meal because I have a bad habit of still wanting to eat even after I've finished my meal. I have not noticed any increased hunger at all.
Topic: RE: Tuesday: What are you eating?
wanted to update yesterday's food for the sake of accuracy
AM, B, L and D were the same
S - added a s/f pudding cup to the raw veggies and fruit
S2 - I added a pre-workout snack and had a Strive bar because I was feeling hungry before my workout and I wanted to have enough energy to get through all 90 minutes of it, which I did!

those s/f twizzlers have a "HUGE" amount of sugar alcohols in them. i had to give them up as well.
Topic: RE: chewing gum
I haven't noticed hunger sooner after chewing gum, but I do try the same trick you are talking about. What about a sugar free Werther's candy or Lifesaver? As long as you don't eat a bunch of them, that might satisfy your sweet craving without increasing the aspertame, etc.
