Unfortunately, I have the opposite problem. I am scared that I will keep losing!! I woke up this morning and was at 172 and thats another pound lost. Remember, my goal was 190. When I asked my surgeon he said I should be getting between 1700-1900 calories a day...that is a joke. I am lucky to hit 1200. Not to mention how many calories I burn off at work nightly at the Peter Hut!!

1. The best thing about WLS is I reached my goal and it wasn't that hard. 2. The worst thing about WLS is I wished I would have done it years ago. 3. The one thing I wish I knew pre-op that I know now is before measurements are very important. 4. Since WLS, I can now clip my toenails without my husband's assistance. 5. The biggest surprise after WLS is how easy it is to live this new lifestyle. 6. The thing I expected after WLS that never happened was alot of excess skin. 7. Since WLS, I just cannot get used to people saying I am skinny. 8. The best compliment paid to me since WLS was "you look just like you did in high school." 9. The silliest thing someone said to be since WLS was "will you die from this surgery earlier than if you didn't have it." 10. My life after WLS is more exciting then I ever expected!!!!!

Not sure what I'll be eating today - depends on how I feel.... Pre B - about 4 cups of coffee... B - 4 oz low carb yogurt S - just had a piece of cheese and a piece of ham, hurts going down but I needed the protein L - maybe a poached egg or something soft like that The rest of the day, who knows? I have class tonight, have to go, it's the first night, so I'll probably just do something easy, maybe some tuna and mayo...

Not sure what I am going to be able to get down today. I was only able to eat some of my tossed salad for dinner last night and I barfed that back up an hour later along with my undigested afternoon snack that I had eaten 6 hours before. I'm still sipping hot tea and feeling kinda nauseaus (sp?). Anyway, if I start feeling better here's the plan. AM - 1 cup of coffee and 2 cups of hot tea so far B - weight control oatmeal with 5 strawberries (or just an atkins shake if my stomach still feels unsettles) L - atkins shake and a plum S - apple slices with PB D - Tossed salad with tuna on top. Something for dessert. No food after dinner Vits and meds - took my bloodpressure meds but forgot the vits this morning Liquids - 100 oz Exercise - today is my "light day" so I'm planning a 30 minute light cardio class (Esquire's Light and Easy Workout) and 30 minutes of ab work (Crunch's Fat Burning Ab Attack). No weight training.

Things are better, thanks. Once I understood the big picture, I realized that I probably overreacted though I've been told otherwise by the "source" of the issue. LOL! Glad there is a computer between us. No cooties for me! Thanks, Kathy

I think if we do not exercise consistently (that's cardio and strength training) we will regain. It's not a question of "if" it's a question of "how much". Exercise will help offset increased absorption and increased intake. It's all about calories in versus calories out.

A. I've had way too much coffee B. I've managed all of 4 oz of yogurt and my BS is funky C. It's a side-effect of Keflex D. I'm going through work withdrawal E. I'm a nutjob Can you tell I'M FREAKING BORED???????
