Krista!!!
Sorry to hear about your mom. I hope the pain gets explained soon and it is nothing serious.
You can upload your own picture by going to the main message board. On the top left in a blue box is "user settings". You can upload from your PC or another website. The picture can only be 100 pixels by 100 pixels or less. If you need something resized, I can do that for ya.
Take care, Kathy

Yes I know I have been gone for a while so sorry....can someone jog my memory how to get them to change my pic on my profile and on here? I am just blank! Guess that shows how long since I updated anything here. Been a very rough hectic year with my mom and her cancer, and now that things were finally looking up...well now she is having unexplained pain. So I am kinda going thru a meltdown at the present time. I will try to post when things get more under control! If someone can remind me about the pics tho I'd appreciate it a lot!! Thanks in advance all!!!
hugsssssssssssssss

Sounds like a blast! I went and saw a band last night too! The only thing is I miss not be able to DRINK like we used to.... so I find that although we can now dance a lot better than before.... I dont have the 'liquid courage' i used to have...... lol!!! So, I guess I need more therapy.....
It was fun to be out and about, although I am used to be in my pjs at 10, and I still woke up at 6am even though I wasnt in bed till 2am....
fun fun!

Topic: Bank Loan for College Denied!!!!!!!
I was so so so upset. $2500 and denied. Why bc of debt to income ratio! So now I have to find a way to get the money. I guess I'm gonna have to max out a few or more credit cards!!!
Which means more to pay a month and on top of that I will only be making around about 120 to 140 a month and I have to pay my car payment which is 285. So I have no clue how I'm gonna do that and pay for college. With the new help my hours are cut in half literally! So David is gonna have to make up the diff. UGH! Plus pay for the new bills.
So I of course have been stressing over this MAJORLY!!! Money is going to be so tight if not to the point where we will have less money for food and gas. But I have to do this I have to get through the program and get a job or further to a RN not sure which yet. But ugh!! LOL!
Just pray please we have to make it some way. I just don't know how.
Thanks
April
Topic: Guess the party's over!!
Gee, I had such an awesome birthday yesterday!!!! The kids were EXCELLENT. My hubby came home with flowers and a card that said Happy 27th Birthday (it was a joke, I'm 37 but he says I look 10 years younger). We ran up town and had dinner together. We didn't get a night out cuz we didn't have a babysitter, but we left them home long enough to eat in town. It was a small diner... which was filled to capacity with senior citizens!! No kiddin' every table, it was AYCE fish night too. I told Steve I really feel YOUNG after eatting dinner there. Stopped on the way home and got the kids a pizza and movie. They ate i****ched the movie, had pop corn and then I sent them all off to bed. Then dh and i got "reacquainted" *wink wink* and went to bed.
This morning though - holy freakin cow!!! It's like the devil himself came and stole four of my children in the night and replaced them with little devils They are up fighting and arguing and complaining. We have company coming tomorrow so they need to do an extra good job on their bedrooms today - I can't get them to do anything without fighting!!!! I'm ready to them all and send them back to bed!!!!!!
UGH - guess the party's definately over!!! And dh had to go into work today too, so he's not even here to keep things under control.
OK - now who wanted to 'borrow' my kids - I'll ship them out overnight express today!!

Deaf and Limpin' ain't so bad when you dancin' to a great live band! One of our favorite things to do is go to House of Blues on a Saturday night and shake my groove thing to the Boogie Knights. They do all disco, and they are dressed up in true 70's garb, etc. It's usually crazy since HOB is on the Las Vegas Strip. There are lots of bachelorette parties, groups of guys dressed as Elvis, and anything else you can imagine. I'm not into the club scene either, but it's great when it's a live band. They don't go on until midnight, so it's a very late night -- usually don't get home until about 3AM.
One of our good friends used to sing for them during his off time (he's now the lead singer for Journey on this tour). When they played "Play that Funky Music White Boy" the singer would toss the mic to my DH in the crowd to sing the chorus. Yes -- it definitely fit. My DH is obviously the most perfect specimin of white boy syndrome when he dances. BUT I'm so glad he still enjoys it. I would be one unhappy chick if we couldn't go dancing every once in a while!
Glad you had a good time. Angie

Tat picture will be a little later today, whenever we get moving...
Aaron was about to kill me last night.... When the band started, we had a table off to the side of the stage and I got up to dance. A little later, I came back to check on him and he was standing at the table GLARING at me... Apparently, he needed to hit the little biker's room and I had left my purse in his care. His choices were to take my purse with him or wait for me to come back and hope he didn't have an accident.... Poor guy...
After that, I convinced him to come up on the dance floor with me. We stayed near the side of the stage where I danced and danced and danced and he.... uh... well, I GUESS you could call it dancing...
