Gym Is Open (Saturday & Sunday)
I'm posting once for the weekend as I'm super busy. If you do exercise both days, just post to this.
I am doing chores this morning, then in about 1/2 hour I'm going to go meet with my new trainer. Her flyer says she has lost over 100 lbs with diet and exercise, she didn't have WLS. She says "I've conquered my food and exercise demons and want to share it with others." Perfect for me. I feel I've conquered my exercise demons, but, now that I'm almost a year out, the food demons are still there to conquer!!!
What have you done to move your body this weekend?

Good for you Kathy...I'm still recovering from the 2 hour workout my new trainer and I did together yesterday. When she did a fit test on me, I tested as "average" fitness for a 45 year old woman, which is big improvement over the last one I had 4 months ago, when I tested "poor".
This morning (Sunday) I got up and did a 50 minute very brisk walk around the neighborhood.
I have my radio show today. www.krcl.org which is on from 10 am to 2 pm mst.
Hugs,
Lori
Ooo, great report on the fitness test, Lori! "Average" is good especially compared to poor. Excellent! You have worked very, very hard for that change in rating. You definitely deserve it!
I'm probably going to go to the gym later or go for a walk later depending on my inclination later. Rich is heading to work for a 4 pm shift so I'll be solo in the late afternoon/early evening. If I walk, it'll be more brisk then yesterday without Rich along. I have to bug him. He works very hard at the gym but tends to do the cycle for cardio. I keep telling him that working on his ability to "simply" walk is a better thing to work on since it is an issue for him. It's more valuable because it'll come in handy when we go places and do things. Rich has some damage to the one leg from lymphedema. I think if he hit the treadmill at the gym a couple times a week instead of the bike, it'll help him in the long run. Maybe he gets it this time. We'll see. I try.
I'll try to check out your show later today! I should be home to get a listen.
Hugs to you and again congrats on the great fitness report!
Kathy
You know, to us, you are way above average... in fact, you are "exceptional".
Rich and I heard you on the radio. We really liked the show and your voice! (Rich didn't care for your co-anchor's voice...said it made him want to snooze... shhhh, don't tell 'em.) I liked the choice of music, of course. You folks have lots of great shows coming this season!
Kathy
Thanks Kathy!
I had to have that concert producer on my show at the last minute. So, the show this Sunday wasn't really reflective of my regular programming. He isn't a radio guy. Glad you liked my voice, I'm an amateur, but, have a great time doing it!
Lori
P.S. Yes, we have tons of great concerts all summer long.
