As I was drying off from my shower this morning I got to looking at myself in the mirror which for me is a huge thing. But I realized I have chicken arms they flap in the breeze. I hope that when I'm ready to have my plastic surgery that they will be able to take care of that....I'm to young to have chicken arms. Jan

Jan, I'll bet most of us have chicken arms now....I haven't lost quite enough weight to think of mine as chicken arms, but, bat wings have come to mind! Lori 384/242.5/168

Mine have some serious flappage but when I look at women that haven't gone through WLS... I certainly see lots of wigglin', jigglin' and all that jazz so I think I'll just make due with what I got. I wouldn't call myself a youngin' so I'm not expected to have really firm arms anyway. Kathy

Boy do I know about the chicken arms! Mines are forever saying bye bye when I lift them up. Since I started weight training I have developed some muscle but it's not what I want. My PT said some things will take surgery and that is one. He told me to wait until I have built a lot of muscles first and then have the skin removed. I was hoping to wear sleeveless blouses this summer, but I think not maybe next year. NB S=283/C=213/G185-190lbs
