I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to have reached our 1 year surgiversary month. I knew it would come eventually but it amazes me that it is here already. It seems like just yesterday yet so much has changed for each and every one of us. I love Aliya's post and hope that each of you posts a few words on your surgiversary or thereabouts. We need to take time to celebrate each and every one of us. I know that we do that alot around here but it is truly never ever enough. We have an incredible group of women (and a few guys occassionally) here. I'm proud to have gone through this experience with each and every one of you whether it was over a year ago on this board as we found out our surgery dates or whether you just found the board today. You folks inspire me. You folks keep me accountable. You folks celebrate my triumphs with me no matter how small and you folks console/comfort me when I need it. No one could ask for a finer group of people.... or better yet... a finer group of friends. I wish we all lived closer because I'd love to give you all a long hug. So, consider yourself all cyberally hugged. We've all come a long way, baby! Much love, Kathy
