Evening Snackers Club
So how did you'll do with the BLTs (bites, licks and tastes, grazing, and snacking last night? C'mon we've been talking about this for the past week?
Me, I did fabulous! I was very proud. I actually ate only what I posted to Candy's food post. Not one bite more.
Came home and decided to go for a nice walk. This was my way of diverting myself from food. My first thought in the door is "something to nosh on".
I walked two miles. Came home. Decided it was still a bit early for dinner since it was before 6 and the evening is long. So I made a protein shake. Protein shakes are especially great for the body right after exercise.
Then I called someone from our hospital support group that wanted an "angel" and had a long chat with her. She is 2 weeks post-op. We'll meet her on Saturday at a hospital event. Phone call was a good food diverson too. Chatted for an hour I think.
Time for dinner. I heated Michelle's...er, I mean MY meat pizza (LOL!) and ate that. I was comfy full after that. But funny standing in front of the fridge getting the water pitcher to fill my water bottle... I felt the urge to eat something. Can you say... HEAD HUNGER? Especially since I had just ate a dense meal.
I settled in to watch TV and wait for Rich to come home. Had my water bottle. Didn't make it fully through bottle #5 but well into it so I had about 90 oz pure. That rocks!
Had my "planned" blue bunny pop with Rich and off to sleep I drifted.
I'm very please.
