What are you eating on Monday?
Just a "ditto" to what Dx has posted...I dreaded flying, now I'm anxious to get my next one booked because I know by then there will be no more "extenders" needed! The majority of the time I was like Dx and just took control of the situation, informed the attendent in a pleasent manner..."I'm going to need your extender when you get a moment"...MOST were kind, subtle, and accomodating in delivering it to my seat and I'd say most around me never knew I "had to use one". There's always the ONE though..made a huge stink out of all the trouble!! Enough that I'll never fly Northwest again, no matter what the costs.
I also would always swap for the aisle seat, gives you that ability to "stretch" a big, move at least one leg around a bit..

When flying if at all possible I travel by Southwest Airlines and book two seats. With an extender it is as confortable as we can be. After the flight you are entitled to a refund on the extra seat unless they had completely sold out the plane prior to boarding. 90% of the time I get the extra seat refunded. It is a hassle but for the super morbidly obese like me it works better than anything else I have found.

Thank you so much for all the advice.
I did get some good news, for me anyway. I traded e-mails with our corporate travel agent and she is booking 2 seats for me on all my flights. My company goes to great lengths for being known as a fair and diverse employer, it goes well with our mission to provide great customer service.
It's really a tremendous relief to know that I won't be inconviencing someone else.
As far as the flyer's thrombosis, I was aware of that trouble. After a long trip I took about a year ago I came back with both feet and ankles tremendously swollen, my doctor insisted on getting an ultra-sound of my legs that very day. Fortunately they didn't find anything, and diuretics took care of it.
The flight from Seattle to San Francisco is only 2 hrs, the flight from Seattle to Denver is 2 and a half hours. I should be OK.
Thanks again,
Dan
B: Light n fit blueberry yogurt with scoop of vanilla protein powder, 1 slice 100% whole wheat toast with a smidge of butter
L: (am eating now and pouchy is growlin!!!!!) 5 oz albacore tuna with 1 tbsp light mayo, relish, and spices - I likely will not finish the whole thing
D: Will be crustless pizza (ground 94% lean beef, mushrooms, green peppers, red peppers, spinach, black olives, mozz, and pizza sauce) and I'm making a loaf of french bread for the family and may have a small piece of that, too.
Now, what will I likely snack on later?? I don't know but I should plan it or it will get hinkey. I KNOW - an apple with 2 string cheese (2%).
Vits: multi taken, 1 dose calcium taken, iron taken
Water - so far about 30 oz, plenty o time for lots more (it's only 1)
Exercise - other than typing - probably not much today. It's beautiful out so I may get out and take a nice walk.
