It has always amazed me...how people do that once a month cooking thing!! I have gotten books on it and looked into it, but I still do NOT get it!
I don't see how I could cook enough in one day to have dinners last a month around here. Maybe because there are 7 of us?
I just think it's interesting! I would like to be in your kitchen one day when you do this, just observing and seeing how you do it. Do you have a subzero or a chest freezer?

I love batch cooking. I get on a kick about once a month and make a bunch of dinners and freeze them. Best thing is that hubby likes to help, he usually does most of my prep, cutting, chopping, slicing, dicing.
What is the Chicken Tikka? The Tilapia sounds great what kind of herbs do you use?
God Bless,
Jen
I have always "talked" about cooking like that, but it never actually happened. In the past I have made huge things of stuffed shells or lasanga and froze 1/2 of it for a later date. You're right though, it is such a time saver.
Today was the first time I had tilapia. YUM!! Mine was tortilla crusted with diced red and green pepper. It was really good. I bought it fresh already seasoned.
