Gym Is Open (Thursday)

Today was my first day back to my regular full workout since my knee problems. I'm feeling good, so it must have been the right time. Here is what I did: Cardio: Treadmill 35 minutes (5 min @ 3.0 mph 0%, 30 min @ 3.5 mph @ 2.5%) Weights SB Table Top 3 x 60 sec Machine Back Extension 3 x 10 SB Wall Squat 3 x 8 Machine Leg Curls 2 x 10 Machine Leg Extension 2 x 10 Stability Ball Single Leg DB Shoulder Press 2 x 10 Machine Calf Raise 2 x 15 What did you do to move your body today? Well, I (obviously) went to 24HourFitness today. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill, plus 30 minutes of circuit/strength training. My last excercise was vacuuming up a bunch of broken glass ... I find that on strength training days I have to add in another snack, because I'm just ravenous. I had some FF tuna salad. Eileen

Wow, woman, what a workout! Your knee must be feeling better! After last night's closet fiasco at home (Rich and a friend hung two racks in the closet Tuesday - the top one collapsed (pulled out of the wall) last night resting the clothing on the bottom one causing that one to unhook from it's brackets) and lots of bending and carrying crap. Needless to say I never set the alarm as I collapsed myself in bed last night so I woke up at 6 am this morning. Too late for the gym. I may or may not do something when I get home. We'll see! Good news is that a handyman is coming on Saturday. Neighbors have used him and he'll survey the home situation and see what we need and will fix it for us (for a price, of course). Kathy
