I'm here, I'm here! First thank you so much for checking in on me...you're such a sweetie!!! I'm doing well. We are in Week 7 of commuting back and from from Galveston to New Braunfels...about a 3 hour drive. Hubby comes more often to visit than we go up there. He's in an apartment right now and misses us terribly! Only 7 more weeks left until June and we'll officially all be together. In the meantime, I've been sending resumes for a new teching job. I'm actually up here without the children because I had an interview this morning at a new school. It went very well and now let's hope and pray I get the job!!!! In the meantime, the kids and I are with my mom. We are looking for a house up there since the lease on his apt goes out in a few months. I can't believe our year anniversaries are coming up!!! I took the kids for an Easter egg hunt this year and we had a blast. When we got home I took out last years photos and OMG, I just couldn't believe who I was looking at. I didn't look very happy at all. I'm so glad I made the decision to have the surgery. How are you dearie!!! I've been thinking of you, your health and your sister. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hopefully by the summer I'll be back and more active on the board like I used to. It's been difficult and there just isn't enough time. Weightwise I'm doing pretty good. I'm getting to the part where people tell me how sickly I'm looking but it's mostly my 3 sisters. My dragqueen brother tells me I look just fabulous and my husband couldn't agree more. I never got back to running in full like I used to after the ankle incident but I have been walking and keeping up with weight training. I'm weighing anywhere from 130-133; I'm like a normal skinny person I guess who fluctuates here and there. I read a little earlier about people seeing about plastics already. I used to think I might need a tummy tuck but that's actually falling all in place due to the stomach exercises. My only complaint would be my girls...ahhhhhh, such a pity to look at! They look so sad hanging there...It looks like I nursed 6 kids and not 2! lol That might be my big 2nd anniversary gift to myself! I'm making better choices than ever when it comes to eating and I've learned how to balance treats to myself...sugar is not my enemy but I control it and not the other way around. I finally allowed myself to try a bit of hubby's burger and it was just awful. I don't think I'll ever try again! That's a blessing. I can eat more so I try to fill it with good stuff. Thanks a whole bunch for giving me a holla! Lots of love! ana

Ana, Good luck with the job search! You'll be a family together in one location before you know it. Time really goes fly by. Sounds like your weight and eating choices are excellent! That's fabulous. I'm hanging tough. Scale has been cruel to me but I'm dealing with it. I'll get through the medical issues and things will move again (not that I'm doing anything differently, mind you.) My sister had her first chemo and is doing great. 1 down, 7 to go. She has a great attitude. Love to you and yours, Kathy
