It's a start!!!
I got the okay from my insurance for a consult with the plastics guy for a tummy tuck and breast reduction. If nothing else at this point I really need the breast reduction. My PCP said that since we're going for one, we might as well go for both - worse thing that can happen is 1) the plastic surgeon says I'm not ready for the tummy tuck and/or 2) the insurance denies the tummy tuck - but in either case I will get my boobs done.
I cannot even explain to you the pain I've been in with these girls. I am literally tearing muscles in my chest and pulling muscles in my back because they're so heavy and YES I wear a VERY good bra and I'm in the right size (36DD for those of you who care
).
Anyway, we'll see where this takes me. I've got an appointment on May 10th so we'll see!!

Congratulations Michelle!
Keep us posted on what happens next.
I didn't think I would ever consider surgery, especially because I would never be able to afford it if it wasn't covered by insurance, but...now...
Although I have tons of flappy skin, unfortunately I don't think I have enough skin by doctor's standards to be considered for any plastic surgery. My other problem is different than yours, very different. I have no boobs at all now. sigh... I miss the girls...
Michelle,
I had a breast reduction 3 yrs ago, and I so wish that I would have waited til after surgery (not that I ever thought I would have had WLS) anyway at the time it was the best thing I ever did, I was a 46F!!!!!!! and now Im a 38D I luv it, especially with my halter tops and no bra!Good Luck!
