Neuropathy?

Hello everyone... I don't post very often but I read every single day, and provide 'silent support'.. and I'm glad to see everyone doing well in a general sense. The past couple of weeks I've noticed something odd. My right foot doesn't seem to have the flexibility it did before (which was just about equivelant to my left foot.) Now when I am sitting down with both feet flat on the floor, I can't seem to raise my right foot off of the ground nearly as far as the left. It's starting to affect my walking, because I'm not picking up my foot as far. Is this neuropathy? I'm not as good at vitamins as I should be (well, I have been since I've noticed this) and I went out and bought some sublingual B12 a couple days ago. This is freaking me out... could it just be that I drive a lot and my foot is extended often? Could it just be how I sit at work, with my legs crossed and my right foot just kinda hanging in space? I wouldn't think so... So, anyone have any idea? I appreciate any thoughts... Thank you! Jasmina 275/170/150

Jasmina, Please go to your PCP or surgeon and have bloodwork done especially on your B1 and B12 levels. That could be neuropathy. In the meantime, be sure to take a B12 sublingually every day and you should be taking a B-100 complex in addition to multivitamins each day too. (Be sure that the B complex has B1 in it. A know of a sublingual B complex that has no thiamine (B1).) Also, I know that since I'm thinner I tend to cross my legs alot and my foot will fall asleep readily and will feel floppy afterwards. Good luck, Kathy

Jasmina - get more b1, b6, and b12.. all of these could cause it. I had it bad in my right foot. I was diagnosed with neuropathy and drop foot. I was tripping over my right foot all the time. Never hurt myself but very annoying and embarassing at times. After I got my b levels up it all went away. Now I don't have any problem with it. Laurie

Laurie, I'm curious. How long did it take before you saw the symptoms disappear? Kathy
