Secret Pals - honesty here...

Okay, honest answer here - how many of you know or have a pretty good idea who your SP is? How many of you are still hearing from your SPs? I love being a secret pal!!

I haven't heard from my SP for many months, but I know people get busy. I've sent mine cards, but don't know if she's getting them because I don't see her around her at all anymore.

I haven't heard from mine since November, I think. And I've been vacant with mine for a long time, as well. I think my attention span is short on these type things. Would have done better with a holiday secret pal sort of thing then a many month thing. But that's me. K

I think I've only heard from mine once... I've been pretty poor at it, as well. I love the concept, have great plans in mind, and then 'life' gets in the way...

Michelle I wish you were my secret pal, giving me things! And I bet my secret pal, who I give things too, would be happier if I was recieving something! I recieved one e-card from mine around Halloween. I have sent mine many e-cards a couple of snail mail cards and one gift. Oh yeah and a birthday card...but not anything since Jan. I must admit, it may be childish but since I got nothing I just gave up on the whole thing. I also only got one acknowledgement of my gifts. Secret Pal just always seem to turn out this way!!!

My Secret Pal rocks! I just received my April/birthday treat via e-mail - a Nordstrom gift card! I have a couple suspicions based on the postmarks, but I don't want to guess too hard. I heard from my SP very regularly in October and November. Haven't really heard from her since early December. I've tried to be faithful sending my SP cards and a gift each month. I agree it is difficult to remain excited about it when you are only giving and don't have a responsive SP supporting you. Mine was terrific the first few months, but now seems to be AWOL. ~Wanda

I know it is hard to keep participating in the secret pal program if you are not getting just giving but I try to think like this, ones that sign up but don't participate are probably the ones who could use the pick me up the most I'm a great pal and I have a great pal, here and on my Georgia board. I have an inkling who my GA pal is but no idea here. I send and recieve something every month, thought thats what we signed up for. I'm loving this project and I love feeling special when my pal remembers me!

My Secret Pal is very very thoughtful. I, on the other hand have been very very neglectful to my Secret Pal. I want to do something very special for all the times I have missed....i just gotta find some time!! I just hope that when my S. Pal finds Out about me...they won't hate me.

Well my Secret Pal is the best! I get things every month and I do send out my gifts though my pal has never acknowleged them but then again dont see her on the board. I know I am the one who started this, guess I just assumed it was rolling along as planned, since it was for me. I will try to send out reminders to everyone, but this was due to end in May, was anyone still interested in doing a May Board get together then? Cary
