Here's to a new month!!

Here I sit, made up with Dave but he's already crashed on the sofa. I just put fresh sheets on our bed, had to because a bird flew in and got 'accidently' shut up in my room when I thought he had flown back outside. Left me presents everywhere... uhg Now I know we are all connected because we had the most drastic, life changing thing done to our bodies but how is it our lives can be so intertwined that we have crappy days, errr, weeks all at the same time? Thank goodness some of 'us' are trucking along and pulling the rest of us along. I'm glad March is done, I'm glad this week is over. I'm glad this day is almost over, been a sick day for me. I'm glad Kathy has had her scan and is going to find out what in the world is going on. I'm glad Ty has a safe AND fun place for after school care. I'm glad Livvie is about asleep, too (kinda glad Becky's hubby puked too ) I'm glad that our May board is full of healthy people! I'm glad my relationship is on the mend and my 5 year old is quietly reading in her room. And we are all safe. You May people mean so much to me, hope you all know how much I appreciate your post. How important it is to have a place to come to see friends. And know they have walked in my shoes. Happy weekend y'all (in my southern most drawl) and Happy, Happy April!! Here's to breaking plateaus!! And a great day tomorrow!

Barb, You put it all in perspective...isnt it odd how we all experience highs and lows simultaneously...I am happy to see March go as well, it wasnt fun. Happy you made up with Dave..did he literally crash on the couch? I love our May family, its not even a board anymore like it started out 1 year ago, I tell you guys things no one else knows! Barb and Aliya, I agree completely. You guys are such a wonderful part of my family. Thanks to each and every one of you. You made me smile... I'm kinda glad he puked, too... Serves him right! Wound up sleeping on the couch myself last night, not so much cuz I was mad but because we have free Showtime this weekend (don't typically buy the movie channels) and I fell asleep watching TV. It's 8am, we've been watching Spongebob the Movie and I've decided that since I've been up since 4am, it was time to get showered and dressed and accomplish something today. Ditto for me. Coming here and connecting with you guys is the best part of my day. Barb, I visited friends in Macon 31 years ago. My friends had a recording contract with Capricorn records at the time. I LOVED Macon. I called my mother and told her, "I love it here. I'm staying. Send money."
