Sick Kid

Well, looks like I'll be hanging out at home today. Livvie's running a 102 temp and is hacking. Isn't in a lot of pain, but whiney. I *could* take her to the sitter's today, she wouldn't mind, but my conscience won't let me. So, I'm doomed to a day of Dora and the like. Changed back into my bed pants and teeshirt, luckily, hadn't gotten so far as putting on makeup... Looks like I'll get some housecleaning done today... I HATE staying home from work... sigh.

Becky, I hope you get to relax a little at home today, perhaps Livvie will take a nap? I also hope she gets to feeling much, much better very soon! ~Wanda

Thanks, Wanda! I've already got her set up in her brother's room, watching PBS while I reschedule meetings at work, etc. I guess I'll do some housework today, there's always plenty of that... I'm hoping she'll nap this afternoon. I've got her dosed up on medicine and that usually makes her pretty groggy. I hate giving it to her, but I hate hearing her hack, too... Have a great day!

Poor Livvie... I hope she feels better and I hope you are able to take advantage of being home and are able to put your feet up for a few minutes.

Try and do you housework aerobically! Then you will kill 3 birds with one stone...taking care of Livvie, housework and exercise! Lori
