OT: Body Image

IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED OR PREFER NOT TO VIEW NAKEDNESS, SKIP THIS POST! I heard a woman interviewed on the radio yesterday. She is making a documentary about the Century Project (http://thecenturyproject.com/). The Century Project is "a series of nude photographs accompanied by highly personal and moving statements by women whose lives span 100 years." It is presented chronologically from a baby girl literally emerging from the womb to a 94 year old woman posing so "some old lady will not fear age and some old men would know old women are not so strange." There are fat women, girls with anorexia, women with one breast, a woman with no legs, a pregnant woman. Their stories are honest, funny, painful, irreverant and real.
