WOW Moment
Hi everyone. I know I don't post often but just had to share this with you.
I've been vacationing in Florida for the past week - did so many things for the first time with no knee or back pain (walking on the beach, getting down and then standing back up in the sand, wearing a size 16 bathing suit (never mind the hanging skin), actually going into the ocean and the pool (no, not at the same time), going shopping at the little shops along the boardwalk and actually being able to buy clothes that fit, having a ball and not be self conscious about what other people thought, etc).
I got home to cold New York weather late Saturday night and dreaded the scale yesterday morning. To my delight and surprise, I lost 2 lbs while on vacation bringing my grand total at 10 months (anniversary was Saturday the 18th) to exactly 100 lbs. I've lost a little slower than many of you but I am thrilled to be able to say "100 lbs gone FOREVER".
I just want you ALL to know that you have been a big part of my journey and I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your love and support and for sharing your successes and sometime failures. The Maysters Rule!
Question: how do I go about joining the Century Club? I'd be grateful for any information.
Thanks again and have a wonderful day.

P.S. Guess I'll have to update my picture(s).
WooHoo Cindee! What a wonderful WOW moment and vacation! Sounds like a wonderful, wonderful time!
It took me a long time to figure out how to get a century club card on my profile. You email the same people who update your picture that appears when you post and request it from them. It then took about 3 weeks to have it appear on my profile.
Good luck and CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Hugs,
Wanda

Hi Wanda. Thanks for your congratulations. Vacation was wonderful but after being back at work for almost 8 hours it seems like I was never gone.
I'll send a note to the people who update our pictures (as you can tell by mine I've never sent in an updated one) and see if it works. Maybe within a few weeks I'll have a Century card.
Thanks again and have a wonderful day/night.

Revision on 10/29/12
Congrats Cindee.... I am so glad you had fun in Florida... you deserve it for all this hard work!!! Keep up the great job! Hugs, Stef
Thanks for your kind words Stef. I just read your profile and your pictures (and wedding favors) are just beautiful.
I also have some problems with lack of energy too. I used to stay up till 11-12 every night but now if I don't go to bed by 10, I'm exhausted the next day. I'm single again so I do go out dancing on the weekends and don't usually get home until 2 in the morning but then sleep late. I can't figure out why I'm so tired during the week either - my labs are all coming back just fine too.
I'm starting line dancing lessons tonight with some friends from work so hopefully that will help my energy level. Who knows???
Anyway, thanks again and have a great night.

Cindee,
Welcome to the Century Club!!! Yes, some of us may have got there sooner, but, many of us started out at a much higher weight than you! The "100 lbs gone forever part" is what you need to focus on!
Woohoo!

P.S. I've tried and tried but never have successfully got them to add a century club card to my profile.
Hi Lori,
Thanks for your welcome to the Century Club. You are so right - 100 lbs gone forever is a major accomplishment - one which I have never achieved before.
I'll let you know if I have any luck getting a century club card added to my profile.
By the way, you look great. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/dance.gif)

Thanks for your kind words Kathy.
Yea, I know my picture was taken about 1 month before surgery so it's time for a new one. I've got several, so I'll have to figure out how to scan and submit one. Maybe this time I'll also figure out how to scan it in color instead of blackand white.
Have a good one.

Cindee,
Huge congratulations on making the century club. And on deciding to take care of yourself.(I just read your profile) You don't tell us how old you are. After 27 years of giving my all to my husband, I am perched on the edge about ready to leave. Should have done it years ago but couldn't because of so many reasons. Now, I know I SHOULD do it but I'm still SCARED!!! I hope that I'll be able to take care of me someday.
Line dancing sounds like fun and it sounds like you have a good group of supportive friends.
