Hey, Aliya! Do what it takes, honey! I think WW could be a great thing for those that want the structure and/or the meetings and such. Could help especially with maintenance, ya know? I'm definitely in favor of doing whatever it takes. Tons of luck! As for me... today I'm doing an all protein shake day! No SF candy. No carbs. Heck, no solid food. Just going to do it for one day - today. Tomorrow I'll go back to basics. Protein first. Going to stick with my no SF candy thing. It's become "an issue" for me. Will limit my carbs to non-starchy vegies and lower carb fruit (we just bought a big thing of delicious looking strawberries). No drinking for 30 minutes after a meal. I'm shooting for goal by my 1 year anniversary. Not sure my body will do it but I'll at least know that I tried. Kathy

Hey Aliya, Ive done weigh****chers (on my own, no meetings) since October. Ive lost 30 pounds by doing the program. When I first started I could have 24 points then it dropped to 22 points. In 5.5 more pounds it would have dropped to just 20 a day. Up until last week I did it, I know this is going to sound terrible but I was having a hard time staying within my weekly points(yeah I mean all the 35 flex points too) so I decided to do calorie counting. I looked up on the internet that it takes a calorie deficit of 500 from what it takes to maintain your current weight a day to lose one pound a week. And it takes 1870 to maintain my weight if Im totally sedentary so I allow myself 1500 calories a day b/c I burn 250-300 in daily exercise. It must work b/c since last tuesday Ive lost 3.5 pounds. I really enjoyed weigh****chers until I could eat more lets say. It scares me sometimes how much I can eat but am scared to admit it b/c of fearing Im the only one who can eat that much. Thank God only 5.5 more pounds to go then I can just worry about how Im going to maintain it. Good luck with the program, I hope you are successful and reach your goal girl! Candy 263.5/155.5/150.0

Candy, You are not the only one who can eat this much...I struggle every day to try and stay under 1500. Lori 384/248.5/168

Good luck Aliya! I'm still faithfully filling out my fitday and recording all I eat...I don't think I really eat less, but, at least I'm honest about what is going in my mouth! Did you think you'd have to do WW or another diet after gastric bypass??? I didn't! But, that quote, "Weight Loss Surgery Is Not A Get Out of Diet and Exercise Jail Free Card" really applies! Lori
