What a BEAUTIFUL day!

So what's the Maysters up to today? It's beautiful here - sunny and almost 60 degrees. Liv and I went outside to play for a while and now I'm TRYING to get her to take a nap - she's about outgrown them.. How come I haven't? Went shopping with a girlfriend today. Met at 8am at Target, went to TJ Max, Old Navy and then a place called Marshall's, it's sort of an upscale close-out store - very cool stuff. I didn't get to look at their clothes, Liv was getting hungry, but I bought some shoes there. All in all, I bought a TON of stuff. My friend Kim has the best taste in clothes, a regular fashion diva, so she helped me pick out some cute stuff. I, on the other hand, can barely match jeans and a polo... Everything I bought was a 10 and M or L shirt except for a skirt at Old Navy - size 8!!! That was an awesome feeling. Meeting Stalker Val, Tabu, La Davis and Deb Doc for dinner tonight. Wish you all could come too. Hope you're having a great day!

Oh, man, I wish I could come to IN for dinner! Rich talked to Cliff this afternoon (DJ friend) and he was saying that Ft. Wayne was having great weather. It is in the 70s here with a coolness in the air. GORGEOUS, simple gorgeous. We just got home from shopping. Managed not to buy too much. Got a bra, two sports bras (need to toss the ancient ones that are far too big) and two shirts. The shirts were from the Chicos outlet - one was $4.99 and the other $9.99. I love me some bargins. Rich got a jacket at Adidas and two college team hats. More bargins. Important thing is that we got the noshies to send to my sister. I bought a couple of small things of Asher's chocolate for her but it was too hot to leave it in the car so I have toffee squares and non pareils in my purse. YIKES! Actually didn't bother me at all but funny nonetheless. Congrats on the size 8! I have 8 pants on now! I think I'm more a 10 but this brand's (Bandolino Blu) stretch jeans run big at least for me they do. Have a great time at dinner tonight! Please send my love to all. New Spring clothes are wonderful!!! We're having such warm weather too, I went to WalMart and bought myself a pair of shorts!! Enjoy SPRING! ~Wanda

It's snowing like CRAZY here, and it was very cold yesterday. I just slogged out to buy groceries and the roads are as bad as they ever get. Spring is a long way out, it seems. March is usually pleasant, but not this year. I bought some spring clothes from Christopher and Banks yesterday. They have a great selection of colorful spring stuff. The store was packed with people. I guess people were wanting a vicarious spring experience, since the weather is and has been so sucky of late. I also bought some *really* expensive (I mean REALLY) expensive designer stuff yesterday at Nordstrom (Eileen Fisher). I'm taking it back today, I can't spend that kind of money. But, it *does* look great on me!!! I bought Mediums and 10's. How's that? Amazing. I hung everything up and my closet looks very spring-like. I've lost 1/2 pound!! I hope that this means my plateau is easing a bit. Eileen
