Never Would Have Done This a Year Ago
I signed up for the Breast Cancer 3-Day. 60 miles in 3 days! I am beginning a training program. I have been pretty good about working out, but now I have something specific to train for.
My grandmother died of breast cancer in 1969. My mom's two sisters are breast cancer survivors. That's a lot stacked against me genetically.
If you need something to shoot for with your workout, see if there is one in your area.
Take care,
J

Jenny,
What a wonderful thing to do and to be able to do. I hope to be able to in the future.
I made a donation to help you reach your goal. I made it in my sister's name. My sister has her bilateral mastectomies a week from tomorrow.
I wish you the best! I've heard it is an experience of a lifetime.
Kathy
Thank you so much my surgery twin. I just saw your name on my page and could not for the life of me think of who Kathy W****** was. I thought I recognized your friend's name. Now I know who you are and I do recognize her name because you have mentioned her before on this board.
From what I hear, the whole BC3D journey is an incredibly emotional and a truly life-changing experience. It is one that I am looking forward to and very excited about.
I will keep you posted on how it is going.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Jennifer, what an incredible thing for you to do! I can't contribute financially at this time, but I'll be praying for you! My grandmother passed away from breast cancer a few years ago and a friend of mine passed away just about 2 weeks ago in what started as breast cancer but spread just about everywhere in her body before it finally took her. You're doing a great thing. Thank you!
Michelle
Michelle,
Prayers are just as, if not more, important as financial support. Thank you so much for including me and this important cause on you prayer list.
My condolences on the loss of your friend. We on the MN OH board also lost a friend last November to breast cancer. It just shouldn't have to be this way.
Take care,
J

Hey Jenny,
Can we make a contribution through paypal? Or mail one to you?
I have been so blessed not to have cancer touch my family but I know heart desease and diabetes all too well. Without contributions a cure may never be found.
I wish you well Jenny, and know that God will be wallking with you.
