Product Review: Isopure Icy Orange
Okay, day two with Becky Sue as the guinea pig..
Isopure Icy Orange...
One word... blech...
Not
or ralph, but just... :blech: It has a really weird taste - sort of like soap but not quite. It also leaves a weird texture in your mouth. Not slimy - the opposite, almost like rubbing alcohol but not as strong... On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd give it a 6.5.

It is lactose, preservative and aspartame free. I kept it in the fridge, took a sip and decided it definately would have to be doctored, so I poured half the bottle (10 oz) in a shaker cup full of ice, added water (about 10 oz) and a packet of Crystal Light Sunrise Orange drink mix and it went down fine. Not something I'd drink every day as it loses the convenience factor once you have to mix it, might as well use powder.
Tomorrow, I'm going to try the AchievOne Hazlenut Creme, which I've heard very good things about...

Just my 2 cents: I will never, ever, ever ;try another ispure product again! The original cherry flavor was the singular worst thing I have ever tasted in my life, and I couldn't get that taste out of my mouth for a LOOOOONG time. HATED IT!!!! EEEEWWWWW~!!!! I gave it away to another patient...ick. Did I mention EEEWWW?!?!?!
Those Isopure drinks are gross. When I poured one out in the sink it even foamed up like soap...I think there are some in my fridge 'cause I didn't want to waste it, it's been there since last July. I think it's time to heave ho....
I'd be interested to hear what you think of the AchievOne drinks. I believe there is a shortage in certain areas and people are in withdrawls...
