Buffets are Evil
Okay, its not actually the buffets fault that I overindulged and dumped, major dumped all the way home. I actually figured out why I hate my nights off from work. Okay, grant it, I love being with my DH and my little boy, but too much time on my hands leads to total grazing. First, I sit at home that afternoon and eat...lets see...cheetos, m&m's, gummy hearts, a small bitesized snickers bar...the list prolly goes on. Then, my husband and I head to Applebees which is too crowded, damnit! So, I (yes I) suggest the Golden Corral (a buffet). WRONG!!!!! I eat a little meatloaf, little stuffing, little greenbeans, little, mac&Cheese, and all that would have been fine.....BUT NOOOOOOO...i have to taste the dessert. WRONG!!! I had some fruit with a little whipped cream on top and then the dreaded Banana Pudding. Now, I thought I had gotten away with it. WRONG!!! I almost get home, and it hits...I am driving and feel like turning the wheel and plunging myself into the Medium. Instead, I head for the front door, run to my bed, strip down to pure nakedness and growl if anyone comes near. So...to end this long ass story, I sleep it off. The only good news...(as if there should be any), I weighed this morning and I am 198 pounds!! Thanks for letting me go on!!
Lisa,
Congratulations on OnderLand....
I'm a pound and a half away....
Sorry you dumped.. but that probably put you over the edge...
My DH got me chocolates for Valentines... Does he NOT get it?
Haven't openned them... I'm thinking of re-gifting them... How tacky
Have a better day today...

Lisa, I could easily relate to your experience. There are times when the voices in my head are just screaming that everything is as it was pre-WLS. I can eat fast, and I can eat a "normal" amount (which is actually too much even for non-WLS people). Then I feel the same way you did.
I'm glad you shared your experience!
