Overdid it...

Nope, I didn't overdo it on candy. Haven't even tried sugar yet. I've dumped a few times since surgery on other stuff and am fearful of sugar. I'm just not "curious" yet. Did I overdo it on food and overstuff myself? Get the foamies? Nope, that's not it either. Let's see...what else could it be... Hint...I'm eating 2 pink tablets and they aren't pink for Valentine's Day. Can you say Extra Strength GAS-X? I ate a whole pack of Bubblicious SF Bubble Gum (8 pieces at 3 grams of sugar alcohol each) and OMG I have gasssss pains and my abdomen is so bloated that my pants which are a size or two too big feel tight. I had to unbutton them in the car. GAS. Self-inflicted. Somebody me... Kathy

I knew everyone could either relate to my saga or would enjoy hearing about it. Ah, the suffering of others...self-inflicted in the more ridiculous of ways, of course.... Kathy

Thank goodness...it wore off... Feeling better today and avoiding the SA laden food like the plague. Kathy

OMG, Vicki! Yea, those SF mentos are definitely killers. Me it was the Bubblicious Peppermint gum. Doh! I seem to do okay with the Russell Stover chocolates (love the toffees) but I also don't eat that many of them at a time either. Today I've been SA free. I keep GasX on hand...just in case... My scorpio sista! LOL! Kathy

Kathy, I sure understand this. I do like the SF candies, but, they definitely do the killer gas thing on me too! Lori

I tell you I was never a much of a gassy person before this surgery but that has changed. It has gotten better since early post-op. OMGoodness. Poor Rich. Funny thing is that he didn't seem to have much of a problem after his surgery or he hides it well from me. Though we do keep a large, large scented candle in the bathroom - it is needed! I know, 511, 511 (too much information!) LOL! Kathy
