Gym is open (Saturday)
Hey everyone! Are you having a good weekend? Are you planning to do anything active?
I have a 2 mile walk to make up. A cold front blew in last night at my usual walk time. Winds were howling and temperatures dropping - I decided to walk today and stay indoors last night!
I bought a medicine ball today. I am going to incorporate it into my ab workout. I will let you know how it goes.

Hey, there are a couple of good things my trainer had me do with a medicine ball. One is to stand with your feet apart, knees slightly bent, then raise the ball to one side up in the air and bring it down to the other side. Do this 15 times on each side. The one I haven't got to yet, but, see others do at the gym is that they sit on the floor, bring both feet off the floor a few inches and bring the medicine ball from side to side. It is hard. Anyway, let me know how it goes. What is the weight of the ball? I have a 6 lb one.
I went to the gym this morning with my neighbor at 7 am instead of going to my 9 am water aerobics class. I needed to get my exercise in early. Here is what we did.
15 minutes eliptical, 15 minutes treadmill
Weights
SB Table Top 3 x 60 sec
Machine Back Extension 3 x 10
SB Wall Squat 3 x 8
Machine Leg Curls 2 x 10
Machine Leg Extension 2 x 10
Stability Ball Single Leg DB Shoulder Press 2 x 10
Machine Calf Raise 2 x 15
Feels good to be done!

I didn't offical go to the gym today, but after taking the kids ice skating I have definately worked out!!!!
It was soooo fun, we had a blast. And surprise surprise i skated for an hour and didn't fall, didn't get hurt, just had fun.
I think I could easily get addicted to ice skating (if it didn't have to be soooo darn cold in there)
