Best WOW moment so far!!!!
Since my hubby is working on Valentine's Day, we're taking care of that this weekend. He's asked me if I wanted to go to a hotel, dinner, movie or if there was something I wanted to buy. I really didn't want to spend the money on the hotel package (rates go up because of Valentine's Day) but I have always wanted a leather coat. So we went last night and shopped for a leather coat.
I've NEVER in my life considered spending soooo much on one item before!!! (except for a car) Holy Cow they're expensive. After being yelled at to stop looking at the price tags, I concentrated just on what I liked. I had it down to two different styles. But they both zipped up the front and it really made me look like I had no boobs at all!!! (which of course I dont). Then on a whim I grabbed one more jacket. This one buttoned up and had a nice lapel to it. I put it on and just "knew" it was the ONE!!! It felt soooo great on me. I told him that this was the one I wanted. Then I looked at the price tag... $375.00 I about fell over. Steve said he thought it was on sale, it was so it ONLY (haha) cost $179.00 and I look like a million bucks in it!!!
I had on low rise jeans that make me look taller and slimmer (size 6), brown cowgirl boots (size 8 non-wide), a turtle neck, and this jacket(size small)!!! Oooo Laaaa Laaaa!!! I could have just stared in the mirror for an hour. I can't believe that it is ME in the mirror. IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!
Laurie - who's now come back into cheapskate mode and is off to WalMart for undergarments.
