My Mom got a Date!

WOOHOO. She'll be coming over to the other side on 02/28/06. This has been a lenghty process. From her originally being a "hater", to deciding to have surgery, to getting DENIED, and now with an approval! I am so excited for her, I so want her to enjoy an improved quality of life, like we all are! I'm gonna be setting her up on here soon, so you can all "meet" her!

Aliya: This is crazy, because my DAD got the exact same date!! I'm nervous for him, but I know he's going to be so happy to be more active and healthy, especially because he has more co-morbidities (sleep apnea, high blood pressure, etc.) and his dad is a diabetic who has such horrible health problems, many of which are obesity-related. I feel like we are starting a real trend of wellness in my family! Tell your mom good luck and I'll be thinking of her as I'm waiting for my dad to get out of surgery!! Jem
