McDonalds Wow Moment!
Corny, but eye opening!
There is a national campaign advertising the new spicy chicken sandwich: now until Sunday you can try a free sample. Forever loving a bargain, I called all of my friends to tell them the news!
The reason for the post is because not even a year ago, being the former greedy biatch that I used to be, Aliya would have driven to all of the McDonalds in the area, and stockpiled the free chicken sandwiches, 2 for lunch, 1 for dinner, and 1 for the latenite snack. Not anymore! Just spread the news and kept on sippin that 23g protein shake. Feelin great!

Trans fat 1.5g (mcdonalds seems to be the only one who has trans fat in everything)
% daily fat 27%
Carb 64g
Protein 25g
Yum Yum lets get a few!!!!!
I had looked up the premium chicken strips cuz thats what my 7yo daughter likes. They are sooooo bad for you! Mc Donalds is clearly one of the biggest enemies of the American people!!
My daughter know we can only go there once a month for her happy meal and only if it is a toy she just has to have!!!
Cindee,
My ex-husband used to have BK every day for lunch and on weekends he would be happy to stop there for another meal or two. Argh! Anyway, I just saw that BK was going to go public on the stock market so I sent him the article. I told him that I thought that maybe he might want to add this one to his portfolio and "invest in himself". He sent back a smiley face.

Excellent, Aliya!
I have not had a burger from a fast food joint in almost a year. The only "fast foods" I've had are the chicken breast (it is breaded though) off the bun from Chick-Fil-A (high in fat but yummy) and a pack of Wendy's chicken strips a few times.
Rich and I work hard to make sure there is food in the house to pack to take for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. I eat breakfast and lunch at work and he eats lunch and dinner at his work. Sometimes we quicly hard-boil some eggs or mix up tuna in a pinch but it is food and it serves the purpose.
Funny thing is that Rich drove through Wendys I think and he saw a big guy in a car pulled over chowing down on food pretty quickly. Rich said that his old eating habits flashed through his head and the old philosophy that calories comsumed in a car don't count.
