Debra, I lose the week before my period. How weird is that? You think I'd be retaining water but no...that's the time of the month that I lose a wee bit. Kathy

I'm sorry everyone is feeling this way but glad that I'm not the only one. It seems like for every two lbs I lose, I gain one back and it's a b$tch to lose that lb again. I looked back to see when I dropped into the 180s....Jan 1 and I'm now 180.8. It will probably take me 1 week to 10 days to drop into the 170s. It's like there is some little demon inside that just keeps teasing me with that pound! One thing that I've found myself doing lately and I just have to stop it is putting 1 more oz of food in my lunch and eating it even though I'm uncomfortable. I just recently became aware of what I am doing so tomorrow I plan on putting 1 less oz in my lunch. I'd rather be satiated instead of so full that I hurt! Pretty unhappy with myself today! Well, I can't do anything about it now but I think I better work out an extra 15-30 min tonight! 273/181/136-150?

I feel MUCH better after reading your posts! I've not lost a THING for nearly 3 months!!!!! I've been beating myself up pretty badly because I KNOW I'm not taking my vits, drinking my water or even avoiding carbs/sugar. I feel like such an a$$ lately. Glad to know there are others feeling this way out there...thank goodness!!!!!!! Gina

Jem, I wanted to say thank you for your post. I, like many others, feel the same as you and need an eye opener like your post once in a while to keep on track, and stop the "little" snacking. I have a sister that is 3 years, 5 months post-op. She has been an unbelievable source of info and support for me. When I hit plateaus, she tells me not to worry, it will change. She tells me that the weightloss will resume after my body change catches up to the previous weightloss. So it's like lose, wait, lose, wait wait... gets slower every time. She also laughs when I tell her I am getting closer to my personal goal (175lbs). She says that I will have no control over when it stops - that it is completely my body's decision. She continued to lose up to 1-1/2 yrs out! She has maintained her weight within +/- 5lbs for the past 2 years. Carol
