Exercise commitment & slow loss

I've been struggling with being on a 'pause'. I've finally broken it, and am hoping that it was just that and that I'm going to go back to losing at a pace I'm happy with. I *really* wanted to get to a certain percentage of my "excess" weight by May 2002, and I've suddenly slipped behind that goal. (It was over 100%, so I need to be a bit more realistic going forward.) I've commited myself to upping my exercise each week. I tend to be a bit on the compulsive side, so I'm shooting for (only) 6 days a week. Today I swam freestyle 1 mile (40 minutes). Eileen

I think you've done a fantastic job, Eileen. I am sure the scale will start moving soon enough. I don't think we will ever lose at the rate that we lost immediately after surgery, but we'll still get to goal if we keep at it.
