2 1/2 inches

OMG, what is everyone doing about the strange regrowth of their hair!! It looks like I had a mishap with the scissors and cut bangs straight across my forehead measuring 2 1/2 inches. My sister actually thought I did that!!! Obviously I can only wait for them to grow longer so they can go back and 'blend' in with the other hair. (You can actually see some of the mini-bangs in my Chirstmas photo if you stare hard...but it's even longer now) For now, it's frustrating. Also, when my blow drying is complete you can see a crown of hair sticking straight out of my scalp all around. It's crazy. I don't have a recent picture but a few weeks ago my brother chopped off all of my beautiful hair because it was so thin, wispy and wiry. Now it's right above my shoulders and colored it an even brown and that did help it because it looks fuller now. But these mini-bangs are driving me nuts!! Just a little venting is all...I think that's allowed on this board.

Ana, Vent away! I've got a similar problem! Part of the reason I got my hair cut shorter. Since it was thinner and then new little hair growth all around, I had it chopped off. I have found it's growing back more quickly now, so I hope it will be back soon. I decided with a shorter cut, it would all grow back more evenly, but I may just keep it short too. My 8 yr old daughter has just let her bangs grow out and I know how frustrating it has been with her to find something to do with those bangs that are out of proportion. Good luck! Ana, My solution is a can of hair spray every day (LOL), of course with all that hair spray it now looks like I'm wearing a really bad wig - I too have all those little sprouts but have decided that the spouts will eventually be nice strong healthy hair so I'll have to put up with it - at least losing hair has slowed way down. My hair has always been thin so I'm hoping it will come in thicker. At least we're all in this together. Hope you have a good day. Cindee
