Gym is open (Sunday)
Happy Superbowl Sunday! I'm not a football fan, so I won't be watching. I hope your team wins!
Today is my rest day, but with all the game munchies around I needed something to take my mind off of them. I decided to try this ab/circuit workout I found at Ladies Home Journal. What was I thinking? I had to cut everything in half. Here is what I did:
Jog in place (2 min)
The Plank (hold 30 secs, repeat)
Lower-back Extensions (5 reps each side)
Jog in place (1 min)
Side Plank (hold 30 secs each side)
Superman Fly (hold 5 counts, 10 reps)
Jog in place (1 min)
Side Lifts (hold 10 counts, 5 reps each side)
The Yoga Warrior III Pose (hold 30 secs each side)
Short, but painful.

I usually love the Super Bowl but these past years it hasn't excited me much...now I'll watch college ball all year 'round if they had it! I am somewha****ching the game and to make myself less of a couch potatoe I broke out my weights: I worked out my biceps and triceps with curls and flys. I threw in 20 nice push-ups in the mix. I finished off with about 10 minutes of a good ab workout.
