I GOT A DATE
Hi everyone,
Hope all is well with everyone! Just wanted to share my news!! I got a date to get my arms lifted!! I'm so excited! I will be having surgery on Feb 20th at 10:30... I chose Dr. Pfiefer in Great Neck... after seeing a bunch of different surgeons I think she is an amazing person and actually listened and answered all my questions.... she didnt tell me what I wanted to hear, she told me like it is.... I was disappointed in a few surgeons, not going to mention names....but there is one in particular that I'm disgusted about... i thought he was good until I compared him to the others... not only did he charge a 150 fee for the consult but he rushed me out of the office and after seeing a few other dr's I realized that he was telling me what I wanted to hear... So just to let everyone who is planning on getting PS done... make sure you check a few surgeons out... and compare answers... there are alot of dr's who just want to make $$ off of you and dont care about you as a person!! I know now im rambling!! Just excited and scared at the same time!

Gia,
Did anyone try to tell you it is best to wait at least 6 months after you reach your goal weight before you get any plastic surgery? My surgeon and support group drills that into us. A few patients who had it earlier than that did not end up with optimum results because their bodies continued to change for another 6 months...

Hi Laurie,
I was told that, but trust me, i will not gain any weight back, I swore to myself that I will never go back to the way I was. I saw a few PS's and most of them told me that I will not lose anymore weight in my arms and that I do need to exercise to keep them toned. I am not doing them for cosmetic reasons, I'm doing it for myself. I am 13 lbs from goal and am happy with the way I look and do not want to lose much more. I do plan on getting a TT and Breast lift but I want to have 1 more child and will hold off on that.
