Wanda/Plateau Buster Diet/HELP!!!
I got you beat hands down, Ms. V. Monday I was up a total of 7 from my lowest weight and 5.5 from the previous Friday. DOH! Huh!
Now I'm only up 3.5 lbs.
There is NO WAY I ate enough cals to gain 1 lb let alone 5.5 lbs over a weekend. This is just my body's poor response to carbs. I did eat more than norm for me.
So the scale ain't been my friend this week.
My body is going through changes as I hit the gym so I suspect some it was water retention in sore muscles. But I'm not really getting sore anymore. I will say that from my tape measure, in a move of desperation on my part, seems to show that I'm down sizing. Obviously I didn't gain lbs worth of muscle in two weeks at the gym.
Plus my scale is showing me down 1.5% in body fat from a couple of weeks ago so things they are a-changing.
I've got to really relax about this. I'm not really stressed. I'm just not happy. I really wanted to see a 160-something on the scale. That was really my ultimate goal. Now I'm back up to what I weighed at Christmas. Thing is it is not really due to calorie intake and that ticks me off. Sometimes I hate my body. Strike that. I hate the way my body reacts to foods - I'm very carb sensitive and it's not fair. I just want to be like others and have a better mixed diet and have some whole grains and such but my body doesn't like it. Derned insulin resistance. Bite me.
